This past weekend we had an event called Family Day Picnic take place. When Chet was younger his parents and some aunt and uncles hosted this same event for their friends. This generation has started it back up! There are several families who host it, we invite many other families, and we get together for a picnic! Each family brings their own lunch and we provide the drinks, desserts, and activities. This year we had a hay ride, a petting zoo, crayons and paper on the tables, various sport balls and lots of dirt (as will be seen in the pictures). It was such a fun time! The kids old enough to run around were able to burn off a lot of energy and get as dirty as the ever thought possible. Here are some pics from the day:
