My mom was sweet to host a party at their house one night while we were there so that we could visit with our other cousins, aunts, uncles, and siblings who lived in town. It was a great time of catching up....and needless to say, the boys were the life of the party! Here are some of those pictures as well as some other highlights from the weekend....
BIG BED
In the "boys room" there is a double bed but they normally sleep in 2 pack n plays while we stay there. This trip my mom thought it would be fun to set up the bed so that they could try out sleeping there! I can hardly believe they are old enough already to do that! Well, we started out the first night laying them in the bed and did our nightly routine of reading books and singing. After trying to leave the room Landon started to panic and asked to go in his pack n play. Marshall seemed fine with staying in the big bed. Not really surprised....he is a bit more "go-with-the-flow" kind of kid so he thought it was cool. :)

MOM-THE SWIMMER
On Saturday we went with my mom to her swim lessons. She has never been very comfortable in water until recently when she started taking lessons. She did very well! She completed an entire length of the pool for the first time while we were there! Go Mom!
FRIENDS
While in town I got to meet a sweet little girl....Bekah! She is the daughter of my good friend Nikki and her husband Steve. We have known each other since 1st grade and she was my Maid of Honor at our wedding. We have kept in touch but haven't seen each other in a while. This was first time seeing Bekah and their 2nd time meeting the boys. The boys had so much fun with her!
Can't believe we have 3 kids between the 2 of us. (and got a decent pic....3 people looking at the camera, almost no hands in mouth, smiles on almost everyones faces....I'll take it!)
PARTY TIME!
The boys LOVE their Uncle Matt. They immediately cling to him and play a little cornhole.

Here is a great picture.....This is my mom and her twin brother Ken. He is sitting near his grandson and my mom is with the boys obviously. What a fun picture of all of them :)
This is my new sister-in-law Stephanie. I have only visited with her a few times but I really enjoy her. I know she and Matt have a wonderful time together and make each other happy. I can't wait to get to see them more soon!

The living room full of family. I love this picture because it reminds me how blessed I am and how faithful God is. Not everyone has family who love each other and support one another. I feel so loved being with all of them and feel that the boys are loved so much too. We always pray that we would have a family one day who would love each other so well and enjoy being with one another (which is a constant pray while the boys hit each other and throw toys at the other one's head:)).
We had a great time with my family....thank you Mother and Daddy!
